Barrall and Conner — stationmaster and assistant stationmaster, respectively, for Strasburg Rail Road — decided in that compiling a book of images from the railroad’s storied history. E.E. Keister in his book, "Strasburg, Virginia and The Keister Family" (), page 14 gives us an idea of some of the culture of this time frame.
